Pump skids were spread along a pipeline with limited connectivity. Operators had basic alarms but little context for pressure trends or motor load.
Modibus approach
Modibus gateways buffered pump, pressure and power data locally and synchronized when network quality improved. Remote access was restricted to maintenance roles.
Outcome
The site reduced inspection drives and detected a recurring suction issue before it caused a pump failure.
