Challenge

Shift handovers depended on operator notes. Energy spikes, feed interruptions and quality issues were reviewed separately.

Modibus approach

Modibus gateways collected status and utility data, then created a shared line history for supervisors and maintenance.

Outcome

The plant improved handover discipline and reduced scrap caused by late response to feed instability.
