Challenge
Specialized benches were reliable but isolated. When a fault occurred, the few engineers who understood each bench had to be physically present.
Modibus approach
Modibus connected PLC, power and safety signals from each bench, giving engineers a secure remote view with role-based access.
Outcome
The depot reduced diagnostic waiting time and created a shared fault history across shifts. New technicians could learn from previous events rather than starting from zero.
